Co-op opens third roadside store with EG On The Move
Co-op has opened its third convenience store in collaboration with franchise partner EG On The Move, EG Group’s petrol forecourt business.
The store – located at Nitshill Services near Glasgow – is the first of the partnership’s to open in Scotland, with seven trial stores set to open in total across the UK.
The convenience store offers Co-op’s core range of produce and essentials, as well as a self-service Costa Coffee machine. In addition, electric vehicle charging is also available at the service station.
The food service offer at the site will also include a branch of Greggs and Starbucks coffee.

Other service stations that have launched as part of the agreement between EG On The Move and Co-op are located in Doncaster and Billingshurst, Sussex.
