Footasylum goes up a size at Merry Hill
Footwear retailer Footasylum is set to more than triple its presence at Merry Hill shopping centre in Dudley.
The retailer – which has operated at Merry Hill for a number of years – will combine its existing 3,000 sq ft unit with an adjacent space to increase its footprint to a total of 10,000 sq ft.
Footasylum’s new space will be designed to create a more modern and engaging shopping experience, enabling customers to benefit from faster checkout times through the introduction of a mobile payment system.
The expanded store will also have an extended range of products, and will introduce Footasylum’s women’s range, which includes brands such as Nike, Adidas, Monterrain, Forena, and Zavetti Canada.

With Footaslyum’s growth as an industry leader, we have created a footwear hub that better suits the shopping habits of our customers. The announcement follows the recent news that the creation of a leisure centre at Merry Hill has boosted footfall at the destination. Since Hollywood Bowl’s arrival a year ago, footfall within the leisure quarter area of Merry Hill has risen by 43%, with the entrances around the area now the busiest in the centre.
