NFU Mutual acquires Dorset retail park for over £30m

NFU Mutual has acquired a retail park in Christchurch, Dorset from Orchard Street Investment Management for over £30m.
Christchurch Retail Park spans 106,000 sq ft and is let to tenants including Homebase, Halfords, and Pets At Home.
The asset is located just west of Christchurch railway station on the A35 – the main road linking Christchurch, Southampton, and Bournemouth.
Park Place Retail advised NFU Mutual, whilst Savills advised the vendor Orchard Street Investment Management.
David Marsden at Park Place Retail has been instructed on the ongoing asset management at the scheme, in particular on the letting of the former Carpetright unit.
