Belgian high-end fashion brand to open first UK store at London’s Hanover Square

Belgian high-end fashion brand Dries Van Noten is set to open its first standalone UK store at Hanover Square in London.

The brand has agreed a 10-year deal at 21 Hanover Square, a Grade II-listed corner building formerly occupied by Barclays Bank.

The opening builds on the success of the brand’s concessions at Liberty London, Harvey Nichols, and Selfridges.

Dries Van Noten adds to a wave of recent high-end openings in Mayfair, including the neighbouring Mandarin Oriental Mayfair, Jacquemus, Moncler, Diptyque, Roberto Cavalli, St. Regis London, and Patek Philippe.

Matt Peters, director in retail at Savills, which advised the landlord, said: “Hanover Square benefits from strong foot traffic, with its proximity to both Regent Street and Bond Street, making it an attractive location for retailers looking to reach a high-end customer base. Dries Van Noten’s decision to establish a presence here further underscores the area’s growing appeal as a destination for luxury retail in London.”
