Kiki & Miumiu to open second location at Lewisham Gateway

Independent pan-Asian food market Kiki & Miumiu is set to open its second location in the UK at Lewisham Gateway.
Following a successful debut at Lendlease’s Elephant Park, the operator has secured a larger, 5,000 sq ft ground floor unit at the South London development.
Set to open early this year, the new location will be Kiki & Miumiu’s largest to date and will stock a range of products from across the East and South East Asian region.
The operator will become another addition to the area’s food and beverage offering, following the recent arrival of Pret a Manger, adjacent to Lewisham Gateway’s Station.
Nick Weir, joint managing partner at Shelley Sandzer, which acted for Kiki & Miumiu, said: “Shelley Sandzer is once again the leasing agent of choice in matching the right brands with the right locations. Kiki & Miumiu has had phenomenal success since opening its first location, and is ready to expand to a new market. The brand adds a real point of difference to Lewisham Gateway, and will serve a strong residential community that will undoubtedly make the most of its varied offer.”
Eddie Chan, owner of Kiki & Miumiu, added: “Our Elephant Park location continues to thrive, so the time is right to begin the next phase of our journey by expanding our presence. Shelley Sandzer has identified a great location to help us realise our ambitions, and we look forward to delivering our international stock to a local community we know will resonate with Kiki & Miumiu.”
The news comes after Shelley Sandzer recently secured a new space for Kosher concept Tony Page’s Island Grill, which is upsizing by 20% through its relocation from Bayswater to Marylebone.
Shelley Sandzer acted for the landlord, Muse Developments.
