Shaftesbury Capital has welcomed five food and beverage brands to its Soho portfolio. The deals include a flagship signing at the Kingly Court dining destination, as well as two openings on Foubert’s Place and one each on Hopkins Street and Berwick Street.

Arriving in Kingly Court this summer is Northern Spanish-inspired concept ALTA. The restaurant will be set over two floors with private dining rooms and an outdoor terrace, and accommodate over 100 guests. The restaurant will join other food and beverage concepts at Kingly Court including Darjeeling Express, Donia, Bar Kroketa, and OKA.

Meanwhile, smash burger concept Heard is joining Foubert’s Place, in close proximity to Carnaby Street. The 1,300 sq ft restaurant is the concept’s second and its first in the West End.

Also joining the line-up on Foubert’s Place is French restaurant and wine bar Marjorie’s, which has opened an 830 sq ft space at 26 Foubert’s Place. The Parisian-inspired concept has 47 covers, both indoors and outdoors.

London-based Filipino bakery has also joined Shaftesbury Capital’s Soho neighbourhood, opening a 1,200 sq ft space at 3 Hopkins Street. The bakery has up to 15 covers and features an open kitchen.

Finally, Breadstall Pizza has opened in a 2,300 sq ft space across two floors at 92 Berwick Street, marking its debut permanent restaurant space.

Emma Matus, head of restaurant leasing at Shaftesbury Capital, said: “Soho remains a hotspot for some of the best F&B concepts, not just in London or even the country, but globally. Carnaby Street has long been known for its unique and exclusive variety of retail, and to complement this, we are thrilled to announce two new independent, founder-led F&B concepts joining Foubert’s Place, and another landmark addition to Kingly Court. Through these F&B lettings, we are excited to demonstrate how high quality F&B concepts can be intertwined with retail to offer the consumer an enriched experience.”
