Boots to debut standalone fragrance concept in the City of London

Boots, advised by Rapleys, is set to open its first-ever standalone fragrance store at Broadgate Central in the City of London.

Spanning 1,900 sq ft, the ‘Boots Fragrance’ store will open this autumn and offer over 400 fragrances from more than 20 brands.

This new concept is a response to a surge in consumer demand for fragrance products, with the perfume industry outgrowing the wider economy fourfold and standing to reach £2bn in the UK by 2029.

Dan Kent, head of retail at Rapleys, said: “Boots is leading the way in combining online and physical store presence. Broadgate Central is the perfect location for the new concept, with City workers able to drop in and huge passing footfall from commuters via Liverpool Street Station. We look forward to working with Boots on further projects as they continue to innovate and roll out the concept in the future.”

Rapleys has recently grown its retail team with the addition of six new members from Avison Young earlier this year, while also winning work with Sainsbury’s, Australian fitness brand BFT, Stansted Airport, and The University of Sheffield, amongst others.
