Angel Central welcomes Lovisa as Bababoom signs

17th September 2025 | Jack Oliver

Angel Central in Islington has welcomed the arrival of jewellery retailer Lovisa, as the scheme also signs fresh kebab concept Bababoom.

Located adjacent to Rituals on the ground floor, Lovisa’s 711 sq ft store offers a range of jewellery pieces and also features a piercing station. The brand joins Angel Central’s existing range of fashion retailers, including Accessorize, Mango, and Oliver Bonas.

Meanwhile, Bababoom chosen Angel Central for its first location in North East London, joining its eateries in Battersea Rise, Camden and Stratford. The 2,745 sq ft space, located on the first floor next to Wagamama, will be the centre’s first Mediterranean-inspired cuisine. The operator will join a variety of food and beverage options at Angel Central such as Pret, Itsu, and Saint Espresso.

Simon Prince, asset manager at CBRE Investment Management, said: “Welcoming brands like Lovisa and Bababoom to Angel Central strengthens our position as a vibrant retail and leisure destination. Lovisa brings affordable, on-trend accessories, while Bababoom adds a different flavour to our dining experience. Together, they enhance the centre’s diverse mix, draw in new visitors and offer something unique for our loyal community.”

The news follows the arrival of Therapie Clinic, which opened earlier this year at Angel Central. The space offers a range of facilities such as laser hair removal and skin treatments, and also marks the first Therapie Clinic location to offer fertility services.
