Park Place Retail to cross 16 London Bridges as part of charity challenge

17th September 2025 | Jack Oliver

Park Place Retail is taking on a 22 km walk across 16 London bridges as part of a challenge in aid of a Sri Lanka-based charity that supports poverty-stricken, abused, or at risk girls.

Between 17 September and 16 October 2025, all 12 members of the out-of-town specialist agency will aim to cover a total of 2,300 km – the distance between the firm’s London office to its most northerly and southerly retail schemes – by logging all their activities including walking, running, cycling, and swimming. This month of fundraising will culminate in the team completing the London 16 Bridges Walk on 16 October.

This challenge is being undertaken in support of Sparkes Homes Sri Lanka, a charity set up by the family of Park Place Retail founding partner George Stratton after the 2004 Boxing Day Tsunami. Sparkes Homes provides safe shelter, education, and brighter futures to hundreds of girls who would otherwise have had limited opportunities.

Donations to this cause can be made here, all of which will be matched by Park Place Retail.
