Scribbler to join Cribbs Mall as Clarendon upsizes

Greetings card retailer Scribbler is set to join Cribbs Mall in Bristol after signing a 10-year lease for a 564 sq ft store.
The new store will offer a range of greetings cards and gifts, including the retailer’s range of Jellycat stuffed toys.
This comes as Clarendon Fine Art has also recommitted to Cribbs Mall, upsizing to a larger 1,214 sq ft unit in the former Typo store on a 10-year lease. The gallery is home to a portfolio of artists, ranging from top international names and award winners such as Fabian Perez and Doug Hyde, to new and upcoming talents.
The news follows recent lettings to Animal and Pizza Express at Cribbs Mall, as the centre continues to add to its retail and food and beverage line up.
Katie Searle, director of asset management at Sovereign Centros by CBRE, said: “We are delighted to welcome Scribbler to Cribbs Mall as it is a brand we believe will really resonate with our younger shopper demographic.
“It is the latest sign of the demand we are seeing from leading brands keen to capitalise on the extensive shopper base which Cribbs benefits from. Alongside welcoming new names, it is great to see Clarendon Fine Art upsize to a larger space. These two lettings are core examples of our dynamic leasing strategy which looks to introduce new names whilst ensuring our existing occupiers continue to thrive ensuring we remain one of the country’s best performing retail destinations.”
Sovereign Centros by CBRE provides full asset management services across Cribbs on behalf of M&G Real Estate, whilst Time Retail Partners and Cushman & Wakefield are retained as letting agents for the centre, with Green & Partners retained on leasing advisory.
