Footasylum to go up a size at Manchester Arndale with 20-year renewal

Footasylum is set to increase its presence at Manchester Arndale after signing a new 20-year lease at the shopping centre.

The footwear and apparel retailer will move into a 17,000 sq ft space, creating a newly-fitted flagship store.

The new flagship will feature a modern refit and offer brands such as Nike, Adidas, Monterrain, and Dripmade. It will join recent arrivals at Manchester Arndale such as Arc’teryx, Alo Yoga and ProDirect.

Steve Gray, head of European retail asset management at Global Mutual, said: “We are thrilled that Footasylum has chosen to not only renew but significantly expand its presence at Manchester Arndale. This is a testament to the strength of the centre and its ability to attract and retain leading retail brands.”
