Søstrene Grene to make Islington debut at Angel Central
Søstrene Grene is set to open its first store in Islington, North London, at Angel Central.
The Danish homeware and lifestyle brand will be opening a 5,588 sq ft store on the scheme’s upper level, offering kitchenware, small furniture, seasonal decorations, gifts, and craft supplies.
The brand adds to the existing lifestyle offer at Angel Central, joining the likes of Oliver Bonas, Flying Tiger, and MUJI.
Søstrene Grene also becomes the first retailer to open a space exclusively on the scheme’s first floor, after the ground floor reached full occupancy earlier this year. The retailer will join UNIQLO and H&M’s double-floor stores, as well as food and beverage brands such as Wagamama and the newly-opened Bababoom.
Simon Prince, asset manager at CBRE Investment Management, said: “Søstrene Grene will be a strong addition to Angel Central, fitting seamlessly into our retail lineup. Its dedicated position on the first floor will create even more opportunities for customers to dwell and shop, enhancing the visitor experience throughout the centre alongside a great F&B offer. It is a destination brand that brings with it its own varied customer base, and aligns with our commitment to delivering the best possible shopping proposition. We look forward to seeing them open in the new year.”
This latest signing comes after the recent openings of Lovisa and Bababoom at Angel Central.
