LM expands restaurant and leisure team
LM has expanded its restaurant and leisure team with the addition of Abban Magos as an associate director.
He brings nearly 10 years’ of experience to the independent retail and leisure real estate adviser, joining from Colliers.
The appointment comes during a period of growth for LM’s restaurant and leisure team, which has expanded significantly over the past 18 months with the appointments of Freddie Cox and Josh Jones.
In his new role, Magos will work on key landlord instructions including Lakeside Shopping Centre and Harlequin Shopping Centre, and will use his experience in acquisitions – having worked with Slim Chickens and Wendy’s – to support LM’s operator clients in securing prime spaces.
LM’s restaurant and leisure team has recently secured Guinness World Record’s first permanent entertainment destination in the UK, delivering a 25,000 sq ft unit at The O2. LM has also been involved in the expansion of the quick service restaurant (QSR) sector, supporting the rollout of brands such as Dave’s Hot Chicken and Bunsik at Bristol’s Cabot Circus, Maki & Ramen in Highcross Leicester, Lakeside Shopping Centre and The O2 as well as Atis and Paris Baguette at Southbank Place.
Ruvan Sangra, head of restaurants and leisure at LM, said: “We are seeing a sustained period of growth, both at LM and across the wider sector. The market is evolving at pace, with leisure and hospitality now central to the success of retail destinations. Strengthening our team with Abban, alongside Jacob Corren, Freddie Cox and Josh Jones, ensures we are well positioned to meet rising demand and continue delivering for both landlord and operator clients as consumer behaviour evolves. It has been an exceptional year for LM and the restaurants and leisure team. From securing Guinness World Records’ first permanent entertainment destination at The O2 to working with leading QSR brands that are reshaping the market, we expect this momentum to continue well into 2026 as consumer confidence strengthens.”
Abban Magos added: “It’s great to be joining LM at such an exciting time for the industry. The leisure sector continues to evolve, driven by new concepts, innovation and the growing integration of technology to enhance customer experience. LM has an extensive portfolio of instructions and clients at the forefront of this evolution, and I look forward to working with them to support the delivery of strong and sustainable results.”
