Danish jewellery brand Georg Jensen has expanded at The Royal Exchange in the City of London.

The jeweller, which first opened at The Royal Exchange in 2015, has moved into a larger 1,000 sq ft unit within the internal courtyard on a new 10-year lease.

Georg Jensen sits among a number of luxury brands at The Royal Exchange including Tiffany & Co., Bremont, Omega, Montblanc and Hermès, all of which have made long-term commitments to the scheme.

This retail offer is complemented by a range of dining and socialising options – including Engel and Jang, The Libertine, and the Fortnum & Mason bar and restaurant.

Andrew Hilston, managing director of The Ardent Companies UK, said: “The Royal Exchange is the City’s foremost luxury destination, something that is underlined by brands such as Georg Jensen expanding their store and making a long-term commitment to the scheme. Its growth at the scheme, on the back of strong trading and increasing visitor numbers, represents a vote of confidence in The Royal Exchange’s position as the leading place to shop, eat and socialise in the Square Mile.”

The retail element of The Royal Exchange was acquired by US-based real estate investment and asset management firm The Ardent Companies in October 2022. Since the acquisition, the group, together with asset manager Pave, has implemented a new leasing strategy and refreshed the advisory team, with agents at Bruce Gillingham Pollard and Savills appointed to rejuvenate the tenant mix.
