31st March 2026 | Jack Oliver

Redical, the owner and operator at The Liberty Romford, has signed menswear retailer Suit Direct for a new store at the scheme.

Taking a 3,790 sq ft space, the store will stock a range of men’s suits, accessories, and exclusive Ted Baker casualwear, alongside brands such as Marc Darcy and Antique Rogue. Suit Direct will also host free one-to-one styling appointments, offering advice for customers preparing for occasions such as weddings, proms, and the races.

Suit Direct will extend the menswear offering at The Liberty Romford, joining the likes of Moss Bros and 80s Casual Classics.

Dan Tucker, asset manager at Redical, said: “The Liberty Romford continues to grow in what it has to offer our dedicated customer base, and Suit Direct will undoubtedly extend the destination’s menswear offer even further. We remain dedicated to creating a diverse and compelling tenant mix, and we are confident that the brand will resonate with our visitors.”

Amanda Argent, retail director of Suit Direct, added: “We’re continuing to grow our national footprint, and a key part of that for us is ensuring that we join high footfall destinations with a complementary retail line-up. Menswear has proven a successful category at the centre, and we know Suit Direct will fit in seamlessly due to our far-reaching occasion-led range and bespoke approach that prioritises the customer.”

This announcement follows the recent news that Danish variety retailer, Flying Tiger, will also be joining The Liberty Romford, taking a 4,500 sq ft space.

Green & Partners and Cushman & Wakefield acted for Redical, whilst Savills represented Suit Direct.
