The Pollen Estate has appointed Savills as sole leasing adviser on Cork Street in Mayfair, London.

Cork Street forms part of a wider cultural and luxury retail ecosystem in Mayfair and benefits from strong international footfall and close proximity to Bond Street and St James’s. The street has undergone significant investment over recent years, delivering a substantial volume of purpose‑built gallery space and supporting long‑term occupier demand.

Savills is now seeking a leading name in the modern and contemporary art world for 5-6 Cork Street, an 11,000 sq ft gallery arranged over two floors. The space was most recently occupied by Stephen Friedman Gallery, and offers a large lateral space.

Jenny Casebourne, property director at The Pollen Estate, said: “Cork Street celebrated its centenary as a pioneering global art hub in 2025. Home to fourteen prestigious international galleries, it remains at the centre of London’s highest concentration of galleries. This historic arts destination is the premier location for modern and contemporary art – championed for its diverse heritage and unrivalled reputation for showcasing cutting-edge art movements. Cork Street is uniquely positioned to welcome a new gallery to this flagship space.”

Richard Scott, director in the central London retail team at Savills, added: “Cork Street is a world‑renowned address for art, positioned adjacent to leading institutions including the Royal Academy of Arts and Sotheby’s. 5–6 Cork Street offers a substantial, purpose‑designed gallery space in a location where opportunities are rare, and we look forward to working with The Pollen Estate team to secure an occupier that aligns with the character of the street and its established gallery community.”
