Adventure Leisure tees up Guildford opening for crazy golf venue

Adventure Leisure has submitted plans to Guildford Borough Council to create a crazy golf-led leisure venue in a pair of vacant units.

The group has proposed the amalgamation of two units to create a Mr Mulligans venue featuring indoor golf, dining and drinking options, along with other ancillary games areas.

The two units are part of Dolphin House in Guildford Town Centre, which is home to tenants such as Turtle Bay, Dreams, Creams, a Japanese restaurant, and a hair and beauty salon.

TGI Fridays formerly occupied the larger, ground floor unit, whilst the basement unit was previously home to a nightclub and then a pop-up leisure venue, Slice. Together the units span a total gross internal area of around 18,000 sq ft across two floors.

Savills and Gascoignes are marketing the two units as one leisure opportunity.

The Adventure Leisure group currently operates 13 Mr Mulligans sites across the UK, including venues in BasildonBirminghamBournemouthBristolCheltenham, Hemel HempsteadNewcastleNorwich, NottinghamRomford, Sidcup, StevenageTonbridgeWokingWorcester, and two venues in Milton Keynes.

Adventure Leisure Limited is a subsidiary of Burhill Group Limited, which also operates 10 golf clubs and the BUNKERS! and Ninja Warrior UK brands.
