APAM offloads £5.5m Chester retail park

APAM has sold a retail park in Chester to a private investor for £5.5m.

The group has offloaded Wheatbridge Retail Park, which spans 52,944 and is fully let to Wickes, Tapi Carpets, and Smyth Toys.

The scheme produces a rental income of £544,488 per annum, equating to an average rent of £10.28 per sq ft.

It is also supplement by 209 car parking spaces.

The subject property is situated 12 miles south of Sheffield and 24 miles north of Derby, in the town’s main retail warehouse pitch. Nearby schemes include Ravenside Retail Park, Spa Retail Park, Lordsmill Retail Park and Markham Retail Park.

Wheatbridge Retail Park is also situated directly opposite a standalone unit occupied by Matalan, with other nearby occupiers including Greggs and Majestic Wine.
