Aussie bakery seeks London flagship
An Australian bakery chain is looking to expand from down under and is now looking for suitable sites to open a flagship store in London.
Founded in the late 90s, artisan sourdough specialists Sonoma operates seven bakeries in Sydney.
In 2018, Sonoma teamed up with ACE Coffee to create a customer experience which combines a bakery, coffee roasting facility, and a café.
The brand works with a number of Australia’s biggest food retailers including ARIA, Tetsuyas, Bennelong, Shangri-La and The Park Hyatt.
Sonoma is now looking for properties in all Zone One and Two locations in the capital. The business is seeking single level properties between 5,000 and 7,000 sq ft in size. Ideal sites will be open plan character buildings with high ceilings. Van access for deliveries is also preferred.
Freehold or leasehold properties are accepted.
