Avison Young has appointed Kat Hanna, currently the firm’s co-managing director for London, as head of UK market intelligence and strategy.

The new role will see her focus on driving Avison Young’s strategic outlook and acting as an advisor to clients and industry stakeholders. Together with the wider team, Hanna will look to help clients anticipate change, seize opportunities, and stay ahead in the real estate landscape.

Utilising data analytics and AI, alongside the ‘on the ground’ experiences of Avison Young’s transactional and consultancy teams, Hanner and the wider market intelligence team will aim to deliver actionable insights that drive better decision-making and a competitive advantage.

Prior to joining Avison Young three years ago, Hanna has held roles at Lendlease, Cushman & Wakefield, and Centre for London.

Nick Walkley, principal and UK president at Avison Young, said: “Kat’s deep understanding of the built environment and UK market, and her ability to translate insights into clear strategies, will help our clients navigate disruption and achieve real results. Her appointment underscores our commitment to client success and our dedication to delivering valuable, insightful expertise.”

Kat Hanna added: “After three years at Avison Young, I’m really excited to take on an expanded role that will see us better connect our data and analytic capabilities to clients and colleagues. I look forward to working with a hugely talented team of real estate analysts and with global colleagues, combining their expertise with my experience of politics, policy and strategy to support clients in decision-making and delivery.”
