Bershka to make Northern Ireland debut at Belfast’s Victoria Square

Bershka, the Inditex-owned fashion brand, is set to open its first store in Northern Ireland at Victoria Square in Belfast.
The brand will join Pull&Bear, which is relocating to triple the size of its store, and LEGO, which opens at Victoria Square later this year.
Bershka’s 17,500 sq ft flagship will be located adjacent to Goldsmiths on the scheme’s upper ground level. The retailer has chosen Victoria Square for its first Northern Ireland store following success across the rest of the UK.
Meanwhile, fellow Inditex brand Pull&Bear will be upsizing into a 16,000 sq ft unit on the upper ground floor, tripling the size of its existing space on the scheme’s lower ground level.
This increased space will stock a wider range of menswear and womenswear and feature a digital-first approach, with self-checkout tills, online pick-up and drop-off points, as well as digital screens.
Completing the new additions is LEGO, which also makes its debut in Northern Ireland this summer. The toy brand has agreed to take a 1,700 sq ft space on Victoria Square’s upper level.
Russell Banham, UK Head at Commerz Real, asset manager of Victoria Square, said: “Over the years, we have solidified Victoria Square’s position as the first choice for retail and leisure in Northern Ireland. We have a strong track record of delivering brand debuts and flagships for leading brands, which these new signings add to significantly, and place the destination in a very strong position to achieve continued growth.”
Lambert Smith Hampton and Savills are joint agents for Victoria Square. Victoria Square is managed by the Lambert Smith Hampton Belfast office.
