British Land signs 16,000 sq ft of retail and dining brands to Broadgate Central

British Land has completed 16,000 sq ft of new retail and dining deals at Broadgate Central near Liverpool Street Station in London.

These signings bring the new retail and leisure space on the ground and lower floors of the recently-completed 1 Broadgate to 79% let or under offer.

Some of the new arrivals include: Boots Fragrance, Boots’ first-ever fragrance-only boutique; fragrance maker Molton Brown; pasta restaurant NOTTO To Go; Swiss chocolatier Läderach; Parisian patisserie Maison Lauderée; menswear brand MOSS; hair removal clinic Strip; grooming brand Murdock London; sandwich restaurant Sandwich Sandwich; and sushi restaurant Sushinoya.

The new tenants will join a number of fashion brand’s already secured for the scheme, including Mango, Luca Faloni, Hobbs, and Whistles, along with the Vagabond wine bar.

Kelly Cleveland, head of real estate and investment at British Land, said: “We’re seeing fantastic leasing momentum across Broadgate, with a diverse mix of retail and leisure brands choosing the campus to grow their presence in central London. These latest lettings build on recent announcements and reflect the enduring appeal of Broadgate’s location, connectivity and curated offer.”

Broadgate offers 289,000 sq ft of retail, hospitality, and leisure space, and the new arrivals join a roster that includes Eataly, Los Mochis London City, Everyman, Monica Vinader, Tommy Hilfiger, and Space NK.
