Carhartt headlines trio of openings in Soho

Carhartt WIP has launched a new flagship store on Soho’s Brewer Street, leading a trio of openings brought to the neighbourhood by landlord Shaftesbury Capital.

The lifestyle and apparel brand has relocated from 72-74 Brewer Street into a larger, 4,000 sq ft flagship at No.33-35. The store joins the brand’s existing location in Seven Dials and offers a range of men’s and women’s collections, as well as gadgets, accessories, and special collaborative projects.

Also joining Shaftesbury Capital’s Soho neighbourhood is London-based menswear brand Ronning. Making its permanent physical store debut, the brand has opened a 900 sq ft store at 2 Berwick Street. Inspired by ‘everyday uniform’, the brand looks to deliver high-quality clothes that are made to last.

Finally, Blackhorse Lane Ateliers has opened a 1,100 sq ft store at 96 Berwick Street. The craft jean maker aims to focus on quality, community, and eco-consciousness, values which Shaftesbury Capital said it aligns with.

William Oliver, retail leasing director at Shaftesbury Capital, said: “Soho remains the top choice for brands looking to make their mark in physical retail, which means we can deliver debuts and flagship stores not found anywhere else and build an unmatched visitor experience. These three new openings complement the exciting retail mix which underpins Soho’s ongoing appeal.”

These openings follow the news that Salomon has opened at 18 Broadwick Street, bringing its ‘Sportstyle’ concept to the UK for the first time.
