CBRE retail boss joins Vedra Group as joint MD

Real estate advisory firm Vedra Group has appointed Rhodri Davies as joint managing director.
He joins from CBRE where he held the position of head of retail and was a leading retail investment advisor in the UK, having consistently held the number one position year-on-year for market share of shopping centres transacted at above £50m.
Davies carries a reputation as a leading person for independent advice and has executed on the sales of large complex retail assets for major investors including Hammerson, British Land, M&G, QIC, CPPIB, Land Securities, Hermes, LIM and L&G.
Key transactions he worked on in 2024 include Landsec’s acquisition of Liverpool ONE, British Land’s sale of its interest in Meadowhall, and M&G’s acquisition of 50% of Cribbs Causeway.
He joins Vedra Group founder and former John Lewis property boss Chris Harris as the pair restate the group’s ambition to become established within the retail asset management sector.
