Pan-Asian quick-service restaurant brand Chopstix has opened its 10th site in Scotland at Braehead Shopping Centre in Renfrew.

The new location, which opened last week, boasts 30 seats for indoor dining as well as takeaway and delivery options, and also features brand-new digital screens.

Chopstix has identified significant growth opportunities in Scotland, with its restaurants in Edinburgh and Livingston amongst its best-performing across the whole of the UK. The operator also has two sites in nearby Glasgow at Silverburn Shopping Centre and on Sauchiehall Street in the city centre.

Jon Lake, Chopstix managing director, said “The huge appetite for Chopstix in Scotland has given us real impetus to explore further opportunities here. I’m delighted we’ve found such a great location for our third site in Greater Glasgow, and given the performance of our Silverburn and Sauchiehall Street sites in the city, and our strong track record in shopping centres, I’m confident our newest unit will deliver fantastic returns.”

Chopstix has opened a number of new restaurants this year including in London Victoria and Basingstoke, and also recently strengthened its relationships with franchisees, including agreements with Welcome Break and Butlin’s.
