Clays to open fourth venue after securing £3m funding package

Clays, the immersive clay pigeon shooting experience, is set to open its fourth venue after securing £3m of funding from HSBC UK.
Located in London’s Soho, the 20,000 sq ft venue will be the brand’s largest to date and feature the brand’s patented interactive shooting technology alongside a food and beverage offer.
This will build on the operator’s existing sites in Bank, Canary Wharf and Birmingham.
The Soho deal forms part Clay’s wider growth strategy, as it looks to take its concept to new markets, with international expansion on the horizon.
Tom Snellock, founder and CEO at Clays, said: “The support from HSBC UK is instrumental in unlocking our next phase of growth. This funding enables us to deliver our most ambitious venue yet in Soho, London and lay the groundwork for our US launch in 2026. It’s an exciting moment for the business – combining our proprietary technology and premium hospitality to fuel rapid expansion in the UK and overseas.”
Grant Kirkbride, relationship manager at HSBC UK, added: “Clays is a standout example of how innovation and experience can come together to create something truly unique in the hospitality sector. The team have had great success with their existing three locations and the vibrant and iconic setting of Soho is perfect for the next phase of their growth.”
ETCH. acted for Clays and have been retained by the operator to secure further sites.
