Coast & Country places 18 hotels up for sale
Coast & Country Hotel Collection has appointed agents to find suitors for 18 of its UK hotels.
Specialist hotel property adviser Christie & Co, who are marketing the properties, said that in many cases the hotels have not been made available on a single-asset basis for a generation.
Ed Bellfield, regional director for hotels at Christie & Co, said: “We expect the hotels to appeal to a wide range of buyers including single asset purchasers and those looking to expand their existing portfolio. We also anticipate interest from both national and international investors attracted to the UK market.”
Coast & Country Hotel Collection, formerly part of Shearings Hotels, operates over 30 hotels nationwide. Bespoke Hotels signed a five-year agreement to manage most of the hotels in August 2020 after Shearings’ collapse, before then rebranding the sites in 2021 as the Coast & Country Hotel Collection.
