Cornish Bakery to continue expansion with three new openings

Cornish Bakery is set to continue its expansion programme with the opening of three new stores in Hereford, Woodbridge in Suffolk, and Portsmouth’s Gunwharf Quays.
This follows the bakery operator’s recent appointment of its first ever-property director, as it looks to expand its estate from 66 stores to over 400 locations across the UK.
Cornish Bakery will also be expanding the size of its store in York, after taking over the adjacent unit formerly occupied by Krispy Kreme.
Mat Finch, managing director of Cornish Bakery, said: “It’s already set to be an incredible year for Cornish Bakery with us proving our mantra of ‘bakery is the new coffee shop’ right across the country.
“We’re very excited to bring our beautifully designed spaces, high-quality products and exceptional coffee to even more UK high streets and shopping outlets and expanding some bakeries whilst planning the design of our biggest-ever property in Portsmouth.”
Cornish Bakery said it also has a further five properties in the immediate pipeline.
