Dalton Park Outlet, Seaham, has reported strong performance in the first half of 2024, with the centre recording an increase in sales of 12.4% compared to the same period the previous year.

In addition to this overall growth, the scheme recorded a quarterly sales increase of 8.8%, whilst monthly sales were up by 7.7%.

During the first half of the year, the centre – which recently celebrated its 21st birthday – welcomed Greggs for a new store, Le Creuset for a pop-up outlet, and an upsizing for Mountain Warehouse.

Nicky Lovell, head of outlets and business development at Global Mutual said: “The first half of 2024 has been outstanding for Dalton Park. The centre’s strategic focus on enhancing the shopping experience, diversifying the tenant mix, and engaging with the community has paid off significantly. The impressive sales growth reflects the strong appeal of Dalton Park as a leading shopping destination. We are excited to build on this momentum in the coming months.”

Dalton Park is the largest outlet shopping destination in the North-East, with over 65 stores.  Brands at the scheme include luxury brands such as Molton Brown, Levi’s, and Ben Sherman, athletic labels like New Balance and Adidas, outdoor retailers including Regatta, Mountain Warehouse, and Trespass, and high-street staples such as M&S and Next.
