Deichmann signs for Corby’s Willow Place
Deichmann has signed for a new store at Sovereign Centros’ Willow Place in Corby, North Hamptonshire, set to open later this month.
The European footwear giant has agreed to take a 10-year lease for a 7,000 sq ft unit at 13-15 Willow Place and will open the store on the 27th.
Deichmann, which is now in its 110th year of trading, operates from over 4,600 branches worldwide in 31 countries. Along with footwear, the retailer also offers accessories, handbags, and other leather goods.
Tom Nuttall, asset manager at Sovereign Centros said: “Corby town centre retail continues to perform strongly and the latest influx of new tenants and relocations is testament to this. The new 14,000 sq ft TJ Hughes store which opened earlier in the year is proving a real hit with customers and we are currently in advanced discussions with another eight prospective occupiers for various other locations throughout the centre.”
The new signing comes during a busy period for the centre, which – along with TJ Hughes – has welcomed Fireaway Pizza, cigar shop Euro Havana, and independent hairdressers The Cut Lab in recent times.
