Former N Brown CFO appointed by Co-op

The Co-op group has announced the appointment of Rachel Izzard as chief financial officer, after she stepped down from the same position at N Brown in November.

Having also held senior roles at IFA Cargo and Aer Lingus, Izzard will take over the role from interim Mike Hazell in June.

Shirine Khoury-Haq, Co-op CEO, said: “We’re delighted that Rachel is joining us at such an exciting time for our Co-op. We are all looking forward to welcoming her in June and her wealth of experience will enable us to continue to deliver our vision as a commercially successful co-operative.”

At the time of her departure, N Brown said Izzard would be leaving to undertake an opportunity outside of the online fashion and consumer credit industry, although it is unclear when her appointment at Co-op was made.
