Four & Co has appointed the former director of property at Vision Express Mike Flint as a consultant.

Flint brings 35 years of experience within the retail sector, including 26 years at Vision Express.

During his time at the high street optician, Flint oversaw the company’s retail store networks and worked to help bolster the firm’s growth, including through mergers and acquisitions. He was also involved in the acquisition of Tesco Opticians, which added 210 stores to Vision Express’s portfolio.

In his new role at Four & Co, Flint will use his experience to provide advice on retail property as the firm looks to deliver top-tier services to the market.

Adam Cohen, partner at Four & Co, said: “Having Mike on board is a game-changer for us. His ability to assist and advise on client strategies, coupled with his extensive network of industry contacts and market knowledge, will be instrumental in driving the growth of Four & Co. Having a member of the team with so much experience on the ‘client side’ of the market provides us with a unique perspective on the issues and challenges that retailers face on a day-to-day basis. Mike’s insights will be invaluable as we tailor our services to meet the evolving needs of the retail property market.”

Mike Flint added: “I am thrilled to join Four & Co and look forward to applying my years of experience and insights in retail property to contribute to the firm’s success. The retail landscape is transforming, and I am excited about the opportunity to help shape the future property strategies for our clients.”
