Georg Jensen to open flagship Bond Street store

Georg Jensen is set to open a new flagship store at 108 Bond Street later this year.

The jewellery and homeware retailer has taken a ten-year lease for a 5,000 sq ft unit set over three floors.

The new store will be located adjacent to Diptyque’s new largest London store and opposite to a number of brands set to open soon including Dsquared, Hackett, Bang & Olufsen, and Opera Gallery’s new home.

Anthony Selwyn, director of Savills, which acted for the landlord, said: “These are exciting times for the pitch just north of Brook street with little availability now following the substantial redevelopment of these buildings.  This part of New Bond Street will now truly provide the final piece of London’s premier luxury location.”

Stephen Kane, CEO of Stephen Kane & Company, which represents Georg Jensen, adds: “The acquisition of 108 New Bond Street follows a two-year search for a suitable flagship to show all the brand’s products in an appropriately exciting and prestigious environment following their departure from Mount Street.”
