Build-to-rent operator Get Living has appointed retail agents to its mixed-use Elephant & Castle Town Centre development.

Time Retail Partners and P-THREE have been appointed to lead the retail, leisure, and F&B leasing at the scheme – which is one of London’s major regeneration projects.

Set to launch in 2026, Elephant & Castle Town Centre will offer 140,000 sq ft of retail, F&B, and leisure space, 55,000 sq ft of work space, and almost 500 new homes.

Situated next to Elephant and Castle train station, the scheme is also set to deliver a campus for UAL’s London College of Communication as well as improvements to public transport, including the construction of a new London Underground station.

Around 50 units on the ground and first floors will sit adjacent to new public streets, which will connect the train station, Underground station, and Elephant Park to the surrounding area. A new public square will sit at the heart of the scheme, providing a space for events throughout the year.

Elephant & Castle Town Centre is part of the wider regeneration of the area, which includes over £4bn of investments and 26 projects across the borough.

Richard Allen, asset director at Get Living, said: “We’re delighted to have Time Retail Partners and P-Three on board for Elephant & Castle Town Centre. Major mixed use developments such as this don’t come along very often, and we’re excited by the huge opportunity ahead of us, delivering a new retail and leisure hub in the heart of Elephant & Castle.

“The independent and established brands coming to the scheme will become a part of a thriving place, with the wider area already known for its eclectic mix of restaurants, cafes and bars. In the heart of the community, Elephant & Castle Town Centre will be a melting pot for local people, visitors, commuters and students alike, firmly establishing this historic part of London as a major destination for the future.”

Rob Jones, director at Time Retail Partners, added: “We are hugely excited to be part of the journey for this fantastic and important development. Elephant and Castle is such a rich and vibrant area of London, and we can’t wait to be part of the team bringing a new town centre back to both the people that live there and visitors alike.”

Hannah McNamara, co-founder at P-THREE, said: “Helping to deliver major urban mixed-use destinations is what we do. P-THREE’s aspiration to create places that have a positive impact on the people using them is totally aligned with Get Living. We both want to create locations which are truly reflective of the catchment using them. We are beyond excited to be doing that in this legacy London development.”
