GRO Retail launches inaugural property awards
GRO Retail (formerly Completely Retail Marketplace) has launched the first-ever GRO Retail Property Awards. These aim to highlight excellence across the UK retail property sector and celebrate the most impactful dealmaking, expansion, and industry activity.
The awards presentation will take place on Day 2 of this autumn’s GRO Retail event, on 1 October at Old Billingsgate Market in London.
Rebecca Sawyer, managing director of GRO Retail, said: “This sector is full of brilliant people doing fantastic work to bring retailers and property together in innovative ways.
“These awards are about celebrating that energy and achievement in a way that’s simple, inclusive and true to the spirit of GRO – bringing people together to make things happen.
“This is a great opportunity for businesses and individuals working in retail property to be recognised for the quality of their work and to promote their services to an even wider audience.”
Nominations for the awards have opened this week, with categories including:
- Dealmaker of the Year
- Fastest Growing Real Estate Company
- Retailer Growth Excellence Award
- Emerging Retailer of the Year
- Outstanding Contribution to the Industry Award
The shortlist will be announced on 8 September, with the winners revealed at the awards presentation on 1 October.
