Gymshark CCO leaves after eight years
Gymshark’s chief commercial officer (CCO) Niran Chana has left the company after eight years.
Chana joined the retailer in 2015 as a customer service manager, and has held positions in the company’s management team, with his roles overseeing customer experience, wholesale, and digital marketing.
In his most recent role, he was responsible for global sales, management of merchandising, and planning and marketing.
Speaking on LinkedIn, Gymshark said: “Niran Chana, our chief commercial officer, has decided that the time is right to hang up his lifting belt and pursue different ambitions.
“Looking at the incredible journey we’ve been on since 2012, Niran has played a huge part in the growth, development and culture of the Gymshark brand you see before you today”,
“He leaves an indelible footprint, and his legacy will live on here as we strive to become the most iconic British brand of all time.”
This follows a fall in profits for the apparel company, which fell by 39% last year despite an increase in sales.
