Independent retailer to open first permanent store at Harlequin Watford

Independent retailer Millie Moo & Friends is set to open its first permanent UK store at Harlequin Watford (formerly Atria).

Opening on the first floor, between The Body Shop and Specsavers, the 452 sq ft boutique will look to offer a curated shopping experience that champions small, independent businesses. It will provide a selection of hand-made, personalised, and artisan products, sourced from local and independent makers.

Simon Plumb, centre director at Harlequin, said: “We’re proud to support Millie Moo & Friends in taking this exciting step to open their very first bricks-and-mortar store. Community sits at the heart of everything we do at Harlequin, and this opening reflects our commitment to championing local enterprise while continuing to broaden our vibrant mix of retail, leisure, and dining.

This follows the recent signing of Space NK at Harlequin, with the beauty retailer signing a 10-year lease at the Watford scheme.
