Global fashion retail group Inditex has signed for two new lettings at Silverburn, bringing its Bershka and Pull&Bear brands to the Glasgow scheme.

Bershka will take the 14,000 sq ft unit previously occupied by fellow Inditex brand Zara, which is upsizing into a new 47,000 sq ft flagship within Silverburn.

Meanwhile, Pull&Bear will take a 12,764 sq ft unit, previously occupied by Topshop. The new store will become the brand’s first in Glasgow and its second in Scotland.

These signings follow a busy 12 months at Silverburn, with joint scheme owners Henderson Park and Eurofund Group signing new deals with the likes of H Beauty, Hotel Chocolat and Crew Clothing, and welcoming store openings from All Saints, Mango, Polestar and Seasalt.

Operators including King Pins, Bread Meets Bread, and The Real Greek also joined the scheme, adding to the food and beverage and leisure offer.

Christophe Kuhbier, head of investments, Europe, at Henderson Park said: “The renaissance of physical retail is getting stronger and stronger; the arrival of these two popular brands from word-leading Inditex is a further endorsement of Silverburn’s repositioning as leading shopping centre destination in Glasgow and the solid performances enjoyed by our tenants.”

Alberto Esguevillas, CEO of UK Retail at Eurofund Group, added, “We have worked hard to reposition and reconfigure Silverburn to attract and accommodate the brands our visitors most want. As ever, Inditex remains high on that list and we are proud Silverburn is one of a few destinations offering the full complement of Zara, Bershka and Pull & Bear brands. As established global high street brands synonymous with a high-quality store design and shopping experience, both will be welcome additions to Silverburn”.

This comes after a 2024 which saw Silverburn deliver record footfall for a second consecutive year, attracting over 15 million visits and achieving double-digit sales growth.

Henderson Park and Eurofund Group were represented by Culverwell and Time Retail Partners.
