Jewellery brand to make Northern debut at Eldon Square

7th May 2025 | Jack Oliver

Jewells, a jewellery brand from the creator of Lovisa, is set to open a new store at Eldon Square in Newcastle.

The brand – which was founded by Brett Bundy and is aimed towards a young female audience – will be arriving at Eldon Square at the end of May for its first and only site in the North of England.

The 1,000 sq ft store will be located next to Molton Brown and join six other Jewells locations opening on 30th May. It will offer a range of jewellery items, while offering services such as piercing, tattoo, and styling services.

The announcement comes amid a number of leasing developments at Eldon Square over the past 12 months, including the opening of Sephora and the announcement of leisure attractions Flight Club and Freight Island.

Matthew Beddow, senior director at Pradera Lateral, said: “Securing the sole Northern store for Jewells’ first foray into the UK market reinforces Eldon Square’s position as a key destination for leading and emerging retail brands and highlights our ability to draw enviable tenants to the centre. Jewells’ offering brings a fresh and elevated experience to our jewellery and accessories line-up, and we’re confident it will resonate strongly with our shopper base.”

Leah Uka, chief brand officer at Jewells, added: “We are absolutely delighted to have the opportunity to open one of our first-ever stores at Eldon Square – a location that embodies everything we look for in a retail partner. As a vibrant and much-loved shopping destination in the heart of Newcastle, Eldon Square offers the perfect setting to introduce the Jewells brand to the North East. We have ambitious growth plans over the coming 12 months and cannot wait to welcome Eldon Square customers to experience everything we have to offer.”
