East Asian-inspired lifestyle brand KENJI is set to join the retail lineup at Centre:mk, making its regional debut at the Milton Keynes shopping centre.

The retailer will occupy a 5,541 sq ft unit on Silbury Arcade, adjacent to Chaiiwala and opposite Starbucks, offering a range of toys, homeware, stationery, and snacks.

Kevin Duffy, centre director at Centre:mk, said: “Welcoming another regional debut with KENJI reflects the continued strength and pull of Centre:mk. Our ability to attract leading retailers demonstrates not only our consistent performance but also Centre:mk’s leading status as a prime retail hub. We remain focused on delivering an exceptional experience for our guests and providing an environment where positive, experience-led retail can thrive.”

This follows the recent opening of KENJI at Metrocentre, with the brand making its debut in the North East at the Gateshead scheme.

Eddie Shepherd, managing director at KENJI, said: “Our new store in Centre:mk represents an important step in our continued expansion into the UK’s premier retail locations. The centre’s strong retail mix, loyal customer base, and commitment to delivering quality experiences aligns perfectly with our ambition to being the KENJI brand to destinations that share our focus on innovation, quality and customer engagement.”

This signing comes amid a flurry of activity across the centre, including the signing of chocolate drinks brand Knoops, which will join Centre:mk’s F&B line-up alongside the likes of Hotel Chocolat and H beauty Champagne Bar.

FMX Urban Property Advisers and Time Retail Partners are Centre:mk’s retained letting agents.
