Livingston Designer Outlet ends 2025 with best-ever Q4
Livingston Designer Outlet in Scotland ended 2025 with its best ever fourth quarter, recording increases in both sales and footfall.
The outlet shopping centre marked its strongest November on record since its opening 25 years ago. Sales in November grew by 7.5% year-on-year, while Black Friday in particular saw year-on-year increases in footfall and sales of 8.5% and 13.3%, respectively.
The centre also saw success during period between Christmas and New Year’s, during which sales increased by 8% year-on-year while footfall was up by 3.2%.
This performance came after a number of new tenants joined the scheme in 2025, with Livingston Designer Outlet welcoming the likes of Monsoon, Belstaff, Crocs, and Columbia over the course of the year.
The centre also delivered strong finish to the year, with sales up by 10.4% in January. The month also outperformed 2024, with sales up by 3.6% year-on-year, confirming January 2026 as the strongest January on record at Livingston Designer Outlet.
Nicky Lovell, head of outlets and business development at Global Mutual, said: “2025 has been a fantastic year for Livingston Designer Outlet. From major brand openings and expansions to our events bringing the centre to life, we’ve seen record levels of shoppers in key times of the year.
“In 2026, Livingston Designer Outlet is set to grow from strength to strength by transforming from a destination largely known to its retail offering, to a full-day destination. This will allow our guests to not only shop for their favourite brands at unbeatable prices but also spend time experiencing our leisure and dining options.”
This year, Livingston Designer Outlet will focus on bringing more leisure and dining options to the outlet. In the first half of the year, the centre is set to welcome a new immersive leisure experience in Flip Out, which will join popular F&B brands like Sides and an independent dining option in Hamilton & Brown.
