London Designer Outlet (LDO) is set to welcome Kate Spade later this year, after the fashion retailer signed a five-year lease for a 1,341 sq ft unit.

The American fashion house, known for its handbags, will offer a range of accessories, jewellery, womenswear, and shoes at the new store.

At LDO, Kate Spade will join a number of fashion brands including Boss, Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, and Kurt Geiger. The brand’s signing also follows the announcement that premium cookware brand Le Creuset will open at LDO later this year.

Matt Slade, retail director at Quintain, said: “Aspirational lifestyle brands such as Kate Spade perform extremely well at LDO thanks to our proximity to one of London’s fastest growing communities of young professionals, thriving families and international students.

“This combined with the year-round high footfall of domestic and international tourists who visit Wembley for world class cultural, sporting, and musical events mean our brands are the best performing in their categories and regions.  This is why we are seeing huge interest from international brands such as Kate Spade and Le Creuset eager to occupy space at LDO, and we look forward to announcing more exciting arrivals in the weeks to come.”
