Lovisa to open stores in Aberdeen and Yorkshire in April

Lovisa is set to open a pair of stores in Aberdeen and Yorkshire this month, as the jewellery and accessories retailer continues its nationwide expansion.
The Australian brand – which has 900 stores across 45 countries – is set to open at the Trinity Centre in Aberdeen and at Junction 32 in Castleford in April.
Lovisa’s Aberdeen and Junction 32 stores will span 900 sq ft and 761 sq ft respectively.
The Trinity Centre in Aberdeen has seen a strong start to 2025, with new tenants including both nationally-known brands and local independents opening their doors at the scheme for the first time. Other existing brands have recommitted to the centre, including Trespass, Claires, and Chopstix.
Kenny Bruce, centre manager for Trinity Centre Aberdeen, said: “It’s fantastic to bring Lovisa to the Trinity Centre, a brand that further enhances the centres retail offering, supporting our commitment to bring new brands to Aberdeen.”
Mark Johnstone, director at Johnstone Property Consultants, added: “This new addition to the Trinity Centre reflects the strategy we have been working on with the landlord to revitalise the tenant mix to better suit the fantastic location of the scheme within Aberdeen. The centre is already on a positive trajectory with footfall up 23% In February“
At Junction 32, the new store comes at a landmark time for the scheme, which recently announced that 2024 was its most successful year ever, with annual sales up by 5.2% versus 2023.
Rachel Scott, head of leasing at Global Mutual, asset manager of Junction 32, said: “Last year was a period of consolidation at Junction 32 and, as we enter Q2 of 2025, we’re excited to be elevating our retail mix and customer experience. Lovisa is a well-loved high street brand, and we are delighted to be welcoming its second outlet store in the UK to our diverse portfolio of fashion brands.”
