M Core acquires landmark London mixed-use estate

M Core has acquired The Northern Quarter, a landmark mixed-use estate in Colindale in the London borough of Brent.
Situated at 50 Capitol Way, the development sits on a 4.29-acre site and provides 64,000 sq ft of commercial space, anchored by the likes of Aldi, M&S Foodhall, Nando’s, Starbucks, and Anytime Fitness.
The estate was completed in 2021 and upgraded in 2023, and looks to combine retail and leisure to create a hub for the local community. Located at the junction of Capitol Way and Edgware Road, The Northern Quarter also benefits from strong Underground connectivity, with the Colindale and Queensbury Tube stations located nearby.
James Buchanan, group managing director at LCP UK, part of M Core, said: “The Northern Quarter is a stand-out investment, a rare, modern, mixed-use property in one of London’s fastest-growing suburbs. Its strong community relevance and location in an area of natural growth make it a compelling long-term hold for us. We’re proud to welcome TNQ into the managed portfolio.
“We also thank all professional advisers, agents, and stakeholders who contributed to the successful completion of this acquisition.”
JLL acted on behalf of Sheet Anchor, part of M Core, which acquired the asset. LCP will manage the asset.
