Sheet Anchor Evolve, part of M Core, has added three retail assets across the north and north west of England to its growing portfolio.

The group has acquired Cockhedge Retail Park in Warrington, Park View Shopping Centre in Whitley Bay, and Victoria Shopping Centre in Harrogate.

Extending to approximately 170,000 sq ft, Cockhedge Retail Park provides a mixture of everyday retail and essential services, with occupiers including ASDA, Savers, Greggs, Card Factory & JD Gyms. Slidie Sliderson – the UK’s first slide park – is due to open on the retail park in February.

Park View Shopping Centre extends to approximately 45,000 sq ft and serves the local and surrounding residential areas. The centre is anchored by retailers including Sainsbury’s, Boots, Costa, Iceland, Home Bargains and Superdrug.

Spanning 73,027 sq ft, Victoria Shopping Centre is located within the centre of Harrogate and forms part of the town’s established retail offer. The scheme is anchored by national retailers, including TK Maxx, Sports Direct, Next, alongside a mix of fashion and lifestyle retailers and everyday services.

Danny O’Keefe, co-founder of Sheet Anchor Evolve, said: “Recent findings from Trevor Wood reflect our long-standing focus on the North as a core market for M Core and Sheet Anchor Evolve. These retail assets demonstrate exactly what we look for, well-established locations where active management and close occupier engagement can drive sustained performance.”

Sebastian Macdonald-Hall, chief investment officer at M Core, added: “We continue to invest selectively in retail assets across the UK where strong locations and long-term ownership underpin resilient income and sustainable value.”
