MINISO to open first East London store at Westfield

Lifestyle retailer MINISO will be opening its first store in East London at Westfield Stratford City next month.

Opening on 1 March, the Chinese retailer has taken a 2,000 sq ft unit on the lower ground floor, adjacent to McDonald’s.

The store will become the retailer’s seventh in the capital, and its second at a Westfield shopping centre.

Offering a range of toys, homewares, and accessories, the store will be the retailer’s first in the UK to stock its new beauty and self care range, which features face scrubs, eye masks, and hand creams.

Saad Usman, chief operating officer at MINISO UK, said: “We’re thrilled to bring MINISO joy to East London with our newest store at Westfield Stratford City. Not only is this MINISO’s seventh store in London but it’s the second Westfield location in London. We’re excited to be broadening our beauty offerings with the second launch of MINISO’s beauty and self-care line, further enriching our commitment to providing a variety of high-quality products at affordable prices.”

The news follows the recent opening of MINISO’s largest UK store in Camden.
