MINISO to open second store in Northern Ireland
Chinese retailer MINISO is set to open its second store in Northern Ireland at the Tower Centre in Ballymena.
Taking a 2,700 sq ft unit opposite Dunnes Stores, the lifestyle retailer will open on Friday 8 September, joining other tenants such as Tommy Hilfiger and Sports Direct.
MINISO’s opening in Ballymena follows the launch of its Belfast store at CastleCourt Shopping Centre earlier this year.
The retailer’s new store will become its fifth largest in the UK and its 21st nationwide.
Jonathon Martin, director at Lambert Hampton Smith, which manages Tower Centre on behalf of the landlord, said: “Promoting an engaging shopping experience, the retailer has something that will appeal to everyone and will be a welcomed addition to the Tower Centre.”
