OFFICE to make Milton Keynes return at Centre:mk

OFFICE has agreed a deal to join Centre:mk, as the international footwear retailer makes its return to Milton Keynes.

Following the closure of its store at Midsummer Place, OFFICE has selected Centre:mk’s Silbury Arcade to bring its range of women’s, men’s, and kid’s footwear collections to Milton Keynes.

Opening later this year, the 5,400 sq ft store will stock a range of footwear – from OFFICE’s own-brand styles to its collection of popular brands such as Adidas, Nike, Birkenstock, UGG, On Running, and New Balance.

OFFICE will join Centre:mk’s existing line-up of leading fashion brands such as Mango, Reiss, and Mint Velvet, as well as other footwear retailers including Clarks, Skechers, and Kurt Geiger.

Any products damaged in-store are set to be re-used, re-purposed, or recycled, in line with Centre:mk’s waste reduction initiatives, which have resulted in a 100% diversion from landfill.

Kevin Duffy, centre director of Centre:mk’s, said: “OFFICE’s selection of Centre:mk is testament to the destination’s reputation as a leading regional centre and the brand will further strengthen our line-up of top-performing names in fashion and footwear. Partnering with brands that align with Centre:mk’s commitment to ESG practices is a significant part of our leasing and centre management process and OFFICE’s approach to waste reduction initiatives is on par with our own.”

The signing of OFFICE at Centre:mk follows the recent news that womenswear brand Mint Velvet is set to open a key regional store at the destination alongside sportswear brand Castore – which recently made its regional debut at the scheme.

FMX and Time Retail Partners acted for Centre:mk, whilst CBRE represented OFFICE.
