29th October 2026 | Jack Oliver

Oxford Properties has named James Boadle as head of Europe and Asia Pacific (APAC), effective from 23rd November.

In his new position, Boadle will lead Oxford Properties’ business across the two regions, which account for approximately one third of the group’s global portfolio.

Boadle currently serves as senior vice president and head of asset management and development, Europe & APAC at Oxford Properties. He has almost two decades of real estate experience across the UK, continental Europe, and the Asia Pacific region, including almost 12 years with Oxford Properties.

His experience encompasses investments, asset management and development, portfolio strategy, capital allocation, and partnerships across a range of sectors and investment structures.

Boadle joined Oxford Properties’ European investments team in January 2015 and held a series of increasingly senior positions in the investment group and more latterly across the organisation. He was named vice president in 2019, became senior vice president of Europe in 2021, and assumed leadership of the European portfolio as head of asset management and development in 2024. His role expanded to incorporate leadership of the Asia Pacific portfolio in July 2026.

During his time at Oxford Properties, Boadle has helped execute a number of the company’s investment and growth strategies. He played a leadership role in Oxford’s pan-European logistics strategy, helped lead the group’s living-sector strategy, overseen Oxford’s European office business, and led investment, asset management, and development activities across the region.

Eric Plesman, president and chief executive officer of Oxford Properties, said: “James is an exceptional leader who has a deep understanding of our business, strong relationships with both our partners and the market, and a proven ability to turn strategy into execution.

“We undertook an extensive search and met with an outstanding group of candidates due to the importance of Europe and Asia Pacific to Oxford’s growth. Throughout this process, James distinguished himself as the leader best positioned to take the region forward.”

James Boadle added: “Oxford has been a huge part of my professional life, so it is an incredible privilege to have the opportunity to lead our Europe and Asia Pacific business.

“We have exceptional people, high-quality assets and platforms, and strong relationships with our partners across the region. I am excited about what we can achieve together, and I’m focused on bringing the full strength of our teams across Europe and Asia Pacific to deliver on our strategy.”
