16th July 2024 | Jack Oliver

Retail warehouse leasing and investment specialist Park Place Retail has appointed Henry Elwess as partner in its agency team.

He joins from Montagu Evans, where he worked for over 10 years, reaching the role of partner.

At Park Place Retail, Elwess will work alongside fellow partners James Potter, Grant Imlah, David Marsden, Andrew Cherry, and George Stratton on their landlord instructions, which cover a total of 23 million sq ft of retail warehouse space.

He will also continue to work with his retailer clients, Boots and Wickes.

Miles Marten, managing partner of Park Place Retail, said “Henry is without a doubt one of the rising stars in out-of-town retail agency.  He will bring a wealth of market knowledge with him, so we are thrilled he has chosen to join Park Place Retail and help us grow our business, especially so soon after we launched 8 months ago.”

Henry Elwess said “I am very excited to be joining Park Place Retail, who are undoubtedly market leaders in the retail warehouse sector, and look forward to working with my highly experienced colleagues. I thoroughly enjoyed my last 10 years at Montagu Evans and would like to thank them for their help and support in the development of my career.”

Park Place Retail was founded in November 2023 by eight partners, all of whom had previously worked together at Avison Young for five years and at retail warehouse specialist Wilkinson Williams prior to that.
